Your bank details identify your account. An IBAN presents account details in an international format. Use the document issued by your bank rather than constructing the number yourself.
Check the recipient
Before confirming, check the recipient, account, amount and displayed fees. A transfer instruction receipt does not always mean the recipient has received the money: check its status with the bank.

Prepare the relevant reference, dates, a short explanation and useful evidence. Ask for the current document requirements and keep the request number. Do not share secret codes.
